Aberdeen Journals pen summer return to city centre

Aberdeen Journals has announced that it will take up its place at Marischal Square (pictured) in late summer.

The publisher of the Press and Journal and Evening Express newspapers employs more than 200 staff.

Aberdeen Journals, owned by DC Thomson, revealed plans last year to relocate operations from Mastrick in the north of the city.

The publisher used to occupy a building on Broad Street, near Marischal Square, that was replaced in the 1970s by the City Council chambers.

Tenants at the £107 million Marischal Square — built by developer Muse — include Marriott Inn, Mackies, Costa and All Bar One.
