Planning report on pedestrianisation proposal

A report has been published advising Aberdeen City Council’s Operational Services Committee of the initial feedback from the informal consultation on the Justice Mill Lane / Langstane Place / Windmill Brae night time pedestrianisation plan.

It asks permission to progress the statutory procedure to establish the Traffic Regulation Orders required to bring the proposals into effect.

The report will be considered when the committee meets at 11.30am on April 19 at the Town House.

There would be two further consultation stages before these proposals might be approved – with Statutory Consultees (Police, Fire, Ambulance, Community Councils etc.) being consulted initially, then Public Advert (Street Notices, Press notice).

If there are any objections, the proposal would come back to committee for consideration at a later date.

The report (item 7.3) can be found here.
