Farmers’ Market to return to George Street

A George Street Farmers’ Market is to be held on Saturday, September 1, following the success of the first market in July this year.

The market will again take place from 10am-4pm in the pedestrianised area next to John Lewis and the Bon Accord Centre.

The event is being organised by the Greater George Street Traders’ Association (GGSTA) and is supported by Aberdeen City Council and the Business Improvement District operator, Aberdeen Inspired.

GGSTA chairman Stuart Milne said: “After the considerable success of our first market during July it is planned to hold similar markets from 10am-4pm on the first Saturday of every month, except January.”
