Aberdeen City Centre Masterplan

Transforming Our City Centre

Aberdeen City Centre Masterplan

About

The Aberdeen City Centre Masterplan (CCMP) was drawn up by independent consultants BDP  and includes key housing, building, transportation and public realm projects.

It was shaped following extensive public consultation and unanimously approved by Aberdeen City Council on 24 June 2015. The programme is modernizing the city’s heart while conserving its proud heritage.

BDP estimated the CCMP could create 5,000 jobs and leverage £1 billion of investment – the bulk from the private sector – over a 25 year period, transforming the city for generations to come.
