Plans for a permanent safety structure on Union Bridge have been approved; Listed Building Consent is still required. The design aims to blend with proposals to revitalise Union Terrace Gardens (UTG) and would be delivered as part of Phase 1 of the UTG project.
Plans have been announced for a “major residential development and enhanced riverside park” at the site envisaged as the “Torry Waterfront” project in the Masterplan.
