Phase 2

Phase 2 (years 4-7) will continue the delivery of transformational projects. 

This will include diversifying employment space in the city centre, grasping continuing opportunities in the energy sector, and developing skills and training in the services sector.

City Living research is out for consultation with key stakeholders with a goal of increasing the city centre population. This is closely linked to a City Parking Study, which will look at what provision is needed.

Plans include redeveloping the Queen Street area as a new neighbourhood.
